I was more than a little optimistic about One Two Three on learning that it had been directed by Ashwani Dhir, who writes the nice, satirical TV series, Office Office. Sadly, the hopes proved to be hugely misplaced. The debutant director goes overly raunchy. The jokes (most of them to do with women’s undergarments) are stale, the dialogue full of silly double meanings and acting loud and hammy. As for the story, it’s all about three men with the same name—Lakshmi Narayan on three different missions which get botched up. No wonder it’s such a mess!
