Theft at House of PM's Media Adviser: 3 More Arrested
Delhi Police today arrested three more persons, including a woman and her minor son, in connection with the theft at the residence of Prime Minister's media adviser Harish Khare and recovered a stolen laptop from them.

"A juvenile, his mother Santosh and Saqib Alam, who had received the stolen laptop from the mother-son duo, have been arrested from Jahangirpuri here," a police official said.

The laptop was recovered at the instance of Saquib Alam, the official said.

Police have also recovered Rs 1,800 from Santosh who had allegedly sold the laptop to Saquib for Rs 4,500.

Earlier, the police had detained a juvenile after recovering Khare's stolen car which was found abandoned at Nehru Vihar in a north Delhi.

Unidentified burglars had broken into Khare's residence in Civil Lines on June 29 and decamped with his laptop and mobile, besides driving away his car.

Khare and his family were sleeping when the incident took place.

The incident came to light when Khare's wife reported to police that when they woke up, they found that door of the balcony open and one laptop, one BlackBerry mobile phone and the car were missing from the house.
