A group of eight doctors and nurses completed the operation in two hours before removing the patient to another site.
There are 40 active fire spots in the forests of Garhwal and Kumaon regions with Nainital, Almora, Tehri and Pauri districts being the worst-hit, forest officials said.
The fire reportedly broke out around 8.15 am after which 15 fire tenders were rushed to the spot.
Around 50 patients were immediately shifted to others wards with the help of hospital staff.
This comes after recent incidents of fire reported in some trains. According to railway officials, the decision to restrict the use of the charging ports was taken as a precautionary measure.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken cognisance of the incident and directed that the evacuated patients be provided immediate care.

Officials said that the fire had broken out around 11 pm. However, nobody was injured in the incident.

A Level 4 fire had broken out at Dreams Mall Sunrise Hospital, which is on the third floor of the mall.
At least 20 fire tenders and two hydraulic ladders were pressed into service to douse the blaze at the building which also has a computerised ticket booking centre on the ground floor.
An FIR has been registered in connection with the case and a probe is underway, officials said.
