Azhar Khan pays homage to Rituparno Ghosh on the icon's 7th death anniversary

A film as a tribute to Ghosh has been critically acclaimed at various national and International Film Festivals

Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan will unveil the poster of A Tribute to Rituparno Ghosh: Season's Greetings, which happens to be India's first feature film to collaborate with United Nations Free and Equal for LGBTQIA cause.

Directed by author-turned-filmmaker Ram Kamal Mukherjee, the feature film 'A Tribute to Rituparno Ghosh: Season's Greetings' also stars veteran theatre and movie star Lillette Dubey, who plays the role of Celina's on screen mother.

‘Bird of Dusk’ draws upon Rituparno's personal memoirs (First Person), his interviews and conversations, and "a hundred stories from those who knew him", says Datta of her friend.

It seemed like the perfect set of a Rituparno Ghosh film when the news trickled in: he passed away at 7:30 in the morning.
