  • The 2019 Activa 125 is the first BS6-compliant scooter in India.

Honda is the first manufacturer to launch a BS6-compliant scooter this year in the form of the 2019 Activa 125. Booking for the scooter commenced at the launch event itself, however, deliveries were expected to begin in a month. Customers would be pleased to note that Honda has kept its end of the bargain and initiated deliveries of the scooter across India.

Interested customers can still book the scooter for a token amount ranging from Rs 1,000 to Rs 5,000 depending on the dealership.

The BS6-compliant Activa 125 features a fuel-injected motor that’s less powerful than the previous iteration but 13 per cent more fuel efficient according to Honda. It features an LED headlamp, a revised semi-digital instrument console, an external fuel-filler cap, side stand engine immobiliser and idle start-stop system.

Commences all India deliveries of Activa 125 BSVI

New Delhi, September 30, 2019: Marking the auspicious day of first Navratri with more joy for its customers, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. commenced deliveries of its revolutionary first BSVI two-wheeler ‘Activa 125’. Starting the festivities on a grand note, the keys of BSVI Activa 125 were handed over to its first customer, Mr. Ankur Arora in New Delhi.

The all new Activa 125 BSVI offers future technology in the present, bringing India at par with global standards - the Sophisticated, Precise & Sensitive Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) NEW. Living upto the trust shown by millions of customers in brand Honda and its innovative products, Activa 125 BSVI is developed with as many as 26 new patent applications.

Commenting on the PAN India deliveries commencement, Mr. Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Senior Vice President - Sales and Marketing, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. said, “The all new Activa 125 BSVI is built with Honda’s superior technology and many segment-first-features, which will bring more value and convenience to the customers. There is a lot of excitement around the 1st BSVI mass segment 2Wheeler in India. Happy to become the first owner of the Activa 125 BSVI, Mr. Ankur Arora said “It’s an exciting moment for me and my family to receive the first Activa 125 BSVI (Deluxe variant). Launched this month, Activa 125 BSVI is available in three variants (Standard, Alloy and Deluxe) and 4 colors (Rebel Red Metallic, Midnight Blue Metallic, Heavy Grey Metallic & Pearl Precious White). Priced attractively, the revolutionary first BSVI two-wheeler is available from Rs. 67,490 (Standard). The other two variants Alloy & Deluxe are priced at Rs. 70,990 & Rs. 74,490 respectively. As another industry first, Honda is also offering a special 6-year warranty package (3 years standard + 3 years optional extended warranty) on Activa 125 BSVI.
