Planning to buy a compact hatchback this month? We have compiled a list of waiting periods in 14 cities across India to help you find out how long you’ll have to wait before getting your hands on your favourite car.

Note: The waiting period for the cars in the table above is only an approximation and could vary depending on the variant, powertrain options and colour chosen.

Maruti Wagon R: The WagonR is available with waiting periods of upto 6 months in Delhi. In other cities like Patna, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai and Noida, the hatchback is readily available.

Tata Tiago: Maximum waiting period on the Tiago goes upto 1 month but only in Mumbai and Jaipur. In other cities, the waiting period ranges from 1 weeks to 4 weeks. The Tiago is readily available in cities like Pune, Chennai, Noida, Lucknow, Patna and Indore.

Hyundai Santro: While it is readily available in cities like Bengaluru, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Indore and Chandigarh, the waiting period for the Santro hovers around 2 weeks in most other cities. The maximum waiting period on the Santro goes up to 2 months in Hyderabad.

Maruti Celerio: Waiting period on the Celerio goes upto 6 weeks in Mumbai and Hyderabad. In other cities it ranges from 15 days to 5 weeks. The Celerio is readily available in Gurugram, Pune, Chennai, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Patna and Noida.

Datsun GO: The GO is readily available in most of the cities including Delhi, Gurugram, Noida,Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Patna and Indore. In the remaining cities the waiting period ranges from 10 days to 8 weeks.
