Bitcoin, Ethereum Rise over 6%, Coinstore Exchange Enters India

Bitcoin has witnessed a rise of over 6.06 per cent in the last 24 hours, while Ethereum has grown by around 7.31 per cent over the same period, as on 8 am.

Even as India prepares to introduce the cryptocurrency bill as the Winter Session of Parliament convenes on November 29, new Singapore-based cryptocurrency exchange Coinstore has entered India. Meanwhile, the prices of top cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) increased over 6 per cent in the last 24 hours, according to global crypto exchange coinmarketcap.com data.

The price of Bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency by market capitalisation, climbed 6.06 per cent in the last 24 hours and was trading at $57,637.19 at 8 am, according to coinmarketcap.com. Ethereum was trading at $4,330.94, up 7.31 per cent in the last 24 hours.

The price of Binance Coin (BNB) rose over 4.11 per cent in the last 24 hours, while it was trading at $612.59. Tether (USDT) was fourth in the list by market cap and was trading at $1, witnessing a fall of 0.03 per cent. Solana (SOL) increased 8.05 per cent in the last 24 hours and was at the fifth position in the coinmarketcap.com list; it was trading at a price of $201.57.

Biggest Gainer and Loser

Bottos (BTO) became the biggest gainer in the last 24 hours, clocking an increase of 8,227.33 per cent; it was trading at $0.1258 at 8 am. Gouki Inu (GOUKI) lost the most in the last 24 hours, falling 100 per cent, and was trading at $00000.05596.

Meme Coins

Major meme coins such as Dogecoin (DOGE) and rival Shiba Inu (SHIB) gained in the last 24 hours. Dogelon Mars (ELON) and Samoyedcoin (SAMO) also gained, according to coinmarketcap.com.

Top meme coin by market value Dogecoin rose 3.48 per cent in the last 24 hours and was trading at $0.2052, while Shiba Inu has witnessed an increase of 4.66 per cent in the last 24 hours and was trading at $0.00003897.

Dogelon Mars (ELON) has risen by 5.81 per cent in the last 24 hours and was trading at $0.000001381, while Samoyedcoin (SAMO) was trading at $0.06368 and recorded a rise of 2.62 per cent in the last 24 hours, according to coinmarketcap.com.

All eyes are on the Winter Session of Parliament as there are plans to introduce the proposed cryptocurrency bill.

Even as uncertainty over the future of cryptocurrency in India continues, Coinstore, a Singapore-based crypto exchange, has launched its services in India.

Charles Tan, head of marketing for Coinstore, told Reuters that they are planning to recruit about 100 employees in India and spend $20 million for marketing, hiring and development of crypto-related products and services for the Indian market.

Meanwhile, seven cryptocurrency entrepreneurs and billionaires have been named on the Forbes 2021 list of richest Americans, according to reports.
