300 Coronavirus-positive Pakistani Terrorists Waiting Across Border, Says BJP Spokesperson

The party gave figures of the militants killed in Jammu and Kashmir, stating that the “professionalism and the daunting spirit of the security forces can be gauged from the fact that in the current month, more than 25 militants have been killed by them so far."

The BJP on Monday said that there are reports of 300 terrorists waiting in the launch pads across the border. The party said that Pakistan “better watch out because Indian Army these days prefers to neutralize” militants and their supporters in the launch pads itself."

The party gave figures of the militants killed in Jammu and Kashmir, stating that the “professionalism and the daunting spirit of the security forces can be gauged from the fact that in the current month, more than 25 militants have been killed by them so far."

“In the week ended April 26, the tally of killed militants rose to 14, which is indicative of the high morale of security forces and very high standards of physical fitness and training,” said party spokesman Brig Anil Gupta.

“Despite the threat of coronavirus, Indian Army has not let it adversely affect its operational efficiency, instead the Army has so strengthened the anti-infiltration grid that all attempts of Pak army backed infiltration by the terrorists have been thwarted at the Line of Control (LoC) itself,” Gupta said in a statement.

“There are reports of about 300 terrorists waiting in the launch pads with many of them reportedly corona positive,” he added.

Brig Gupta also said the credit “also goes to the men and officers of Indian Army, CRPF and JKP,” who are operating with seamless integration while conducting successful joint anti-terror operations in the hinterland. “All this is being achieved while they are busy in assisting the civil administration in management of the pandemic within the UT,” he said.
