Hon'ble President of India, Ram Nath Kovind took his first shot of Covid-19 vaccine at an army hospital on Tuesday.
The centre on Monday expanded its Covid-19 vaccination drive allowing senior citizens and those within the age bracket of 45-59 to get vaccinated against the virus.
According to tweets on his official handle, the president, 75, was accompanied by his daughter when the vaccine dose was administered to him at the army's Research and Referral Hospital here.
