For the second successive day, Sri Lanka dominated the West Indies as they set the hosts a 375-run target in the first Test at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, Antigua. Day 4 started with Sri Lanka on 255/4 with Dhananjaya de Silva and Pathum Nissanka on 46 and 21 runs respectively. They reached 359/5 at Lunch with Niroshan Dickwella giving debutant Nissanka company. Nissanka then reached his maiden ton in 240 balls as they take Tea at 435/5 in 138 overs with Dickwella (81) also nearing a deserved ton. But the innings folded in the next 5.5 overs as the Windies hit back. Nissanka got out for 103 off 252 balls. He thus became the fourth Sri Lankan to score a ton on debut, and the first to do so overseas. He stitched a 179-run stand for the sixth wicket with Dickwella. The wicketkeeper, however, fell short four runs short of his century. Spinner Rahkeem Cornwall, who scored his maiden fifty earlier in the match, and veteran pacer Kemar Roach claimed three wickets each, while former captain Jason Holder took two. The Day ended with Windies on 34/1 in 20 overs with John Campbell the lone wicket to fall on Windies second innings, to Vishwa Fernando in the sixth over. They still need another 341 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the two-match series. Catch Day 4 highlights of the first WI vs SL Test match:
