Punjab Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal today said Khalistan protagonists Jagjit Singh Chauhan and Wassan Singh Zaffarwal will not be admitted in Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal).

These persons are working at the instance of Congress to create a Hindu-Sikh divide, he told reporters adding that the government would not allow them to create disturbances in Punjab.

Badal said the Punjab government and the Centre would not have permitted Chauhan to come to India, but it was the decision of the Punjab and Haryana high court which the two governments respected with due regard to the judiciary.

Meanwhile, former youth Congress leader Maninderjit Singh Bitta has taken strong exception to the reported demand of Khalistan protagonist Jagjit Singh Chauhan to rename Punjab as `Khalistan'.

Bitta, who is also the chairman of `All India Anti-Terrorist Front' said nobody would be allowed to change the name of Punjab and claimed that the people of the state would make any sacrifice to prevent it.
