The Olympic-bound M C Mary Kom (51kg) and former youth world champion Sakshi (54kg) were among four Indian women boxers who stormed into the Asian Championship finals after notching up exciting victories while Pooja Rani (75kg) got a walkover in Dubai on Thursday (More Sports News)

Monika (48 kg) - lost to 2nd seed Alua Balkibekova of Kazakhstan 5-0.
Mary Kom (51kg) - defeated Lutsaikhan Altantsetseg of Mongolia 4-1.
Sakshi (54kg) - defeated Dina Zholaman of Kazakhstan 3-2.
Jaismine (57kg)  - lost to Vladislava Kukhta of Kazakhstan 5-0.
Simranjit Kaur (60kg) - lost to Rimma Volossenko of Kazakhstan 5-0.
Lalbuatsaihi (64kg) - defeated Noura Almutairi of Kuwait (abandonment).
Lovlina Borgohain (69kg) - Lost to Navbakhor Khamidova of Uzbekistan 2-3.
Pooja Rani (75 kg)  - Got walk over Munkhbat Myagmarjargal of Mongolia.
Saweety (81kg) - lost to Fariza Sholtay of Kazakhstan.
Anupama (+81kg) - defeated Mokhira Abdullaeva of Uzbekistan.

On Day 3, defending champion Amit Panghal (52kg) and the redoubtable Vikas Krishan (69kg) advanced to the semifinals as India assured itself of an unparalleled medal haul of 15.

The ongoing Championships has been witnessing the presence of 150 boxers from 17 countries including strong boxing nations such as India, Uzbekistan, the Philippines and Kazakhstan.
