England had been set a modest target of 166 by Sri Lanka and looked all set to hand the visitors a 3-0 whitewash till rains decided to play spoilsports at Bristol in the 3rd ODI on Sunday. Sri Lanka once again imploded under pressure from England quick’s Chris Woakes and David Willey. The two snared four wickets accounting for Lanka’s top order.  Tom Curran then took 4/35 as Sri Lanka were bundled out for just 166. Dasun Shanaka top scored with 48 runs, while Wanindu Hasaranga made 20. England’s chase could never start as insistent rains forced a washout saving Sri Lanka blushes of a whitewash.
