Asghar Afghan and Hashmatullah Shahidi shared an unbroken stand of 186 runs as Afghanistan took firm control of the 2nd Test match by the end of Day 1 at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi, on Wednesday.Afghanistan were 307/3 in 90 overs at stumps. Afghan was batting on 106 (135 b 12x4, 2x6), while Shahidi was on 86 (229b 12x4).  Earlier, Ibrahim Zadran made 72 to set a platform for Afghan and Shahidi. For Zimbabwe Victor Nyauchi took one-wicket  for 73 runs, while Ryan Burl snared one-wicket for 34 runs.  Catch the highlights the Day 1 of the second Test between Afghanistan and Zimbabwe here .
