Pakistan batted the entire Day 2 to take an 88-run with two wickets in hand against visiting South Africa at the National Stadium, Karachi Wednesday. Fawad Alam, who held the innings together with a magnificent 109 off 245 balls, finally got out to Lungi Ngidi even as the Proteas struggled against the Pakistan lower-middle order, a fact accentuated by Quinton de Kock's poor review calls. Alam was brilliantly supported by Mohammad Rizwan (33 off 59) and brave Faheem Ashraf (64 off 84). At the close of play on Day 2, Hasan Ali (11) and Nauman Ali (6) were unbeaten. Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje, Lungi Ngidi and Keshav Maharaj took a brace each, but none managed to leave a mark. Catch highlights here:
