According to the revised excise guidelines in Uttar Pradesh, a person will have to obtain a license to purchase, transport or keep in private possession liquor in excess of the prescribed retail limit.
It is believed that two to three drinks can take the BA reading to anywhere between 0.06 to 0.1 level, which can affect a person’s reaction time, fine motor skills, memory and judgement.
